SŁOWA KLUCZOWE
STRESZCZENIE
A psychologist, H. Leymann, in his report of studies conducted in Sweden published in 1984, gave a modern meaning to the term mobbing. Three main features of mobbing may be distinguished: usage of psychological and physical violence by the perpetrator, humiliation of an employee, long-term and frequent action. The objective of the study was to present the legal regulations concerning the prevention of mobbing at the workplace. The obligation to counteract mobbing results from regulations contained in legal acts, which directly or indirectly prohibit mobbing. Legal regulations oblige employees to undertake preventive and eliminative measures with respect to mobbing. However, the regulations concerning counteracting mobbing contained in legal acts are very general. This hinders effective mobbing prevention and control.
